The CEO of Afshan Rag, Mehrnaz Kiasati, with more than 30 years of experience in training, design, weaving, and repairing carpet, is one of the first graduates in the field of persian carpets.
At the same time, through studying psychology, she has been trying to gain an interdisciplinary knowledge of art and psychology to enrich her experience to contribute to the society.
Technology has caused an excessive speed in our daily life. Currently, we are surrounded, and better to say, suffocated by the world of information. While the progress of technology and science has improved our lives, we need to deal with everyday stress they accordingly put on us.
The question is, what can we do to experience a quality life?
We believe that sometimes it is necessary to slow down, and be kinder to ourselves, by just emercing into the present moment.
